Tsubaki Grand Shrine is located in the center of the base of Suzuka Cordillera.

It is the main shrine of more than 2,000 shrines throughout the country which enshrine Sarutahiko no okami and is also the top shrine of the old Ise District. Sarutahiko no okami is called “The kami of Guidance” which means the kami or deity that brings people peace and happiness and prosperity.
