You can learn about the history of Yokkaichi and how the lifestyle of its inhabitants has changed over the years via a full-size reproduction in the permanent exhibition.
Another highlight of the museum is the planetarium. You will find a high-tech planetarium facility where you can enjoy the beautiful stars in the night sky and allow yourself some time to reflect upon the universe and the Earth. Other facilities on the second floor include the Yokkaichi Pollution and Environmental Museum for Future Awareness
