This tea house was established in Unomori Park as a symbol of Yokkaichi, the production center of Ise tea, and as a center of traditional culture.

It was built in July 1994, designed by Masao Nakamura, a leading expert in sukiya-style architecture, as a place where visitors can become familiar with traditional Japanese culture (tea ceremony, haiku poetry, etc.). Visitors can enjoy a cup of tea without a reservation at the ryurei-seki (tea ceremony seats), which are chair seating areas where you can casually enjoy tea.
