Isehon Kabuse-cha is a type of Ise green tea that is produced by covering the tea with a cover that blocks direct sunlight for a certain period of time.

By blocking direct sunlight before the buds emerge, the constituents of green tea are altered. Contains more theanine, a flavor component, than ordinary sencha teas, resulting in a rich aroma and a sweet, mellow flavor.
