Mikimoto Kokichi is known as the “King of Pearls”.
He was the first person ever to successfully culture pearls, which he didi at Mikimoto Pearl Island. You can see women dive fot pearl oysters, various pearl arts, materials of pearl culturing and the history of pearl culturing.
