It is a park built on the remains of Honmaru and Ninomaru in Kuwana Castle, and has an area of about 7.20 ha.
Formerly known as "Ogijo", it retains the remnants of a castle that was praised as a famous castle on the Kaido, and is popular as a place of relaxation for the citizens, with many cherry blossoms, azaleas, and irises planted. Various seasonal events such as the "Sakura Festival" in April, the "Goldfish Festival" in May, and the "Iris Festival" in June are held and are crowded with many citizens. In addition, there is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Matsudaira Sadatsuna and Matsudaira Sadanobu.
